my 26xl will not start in cold weather. Glow plugs are working. What can i do to get it started? use to start regardless of the weather.

Couple things to start with:
1. Check battery - could be old or have corrosion on a connection
2. Check fuel filter, add some additive.
I agree with Topher. You don't give any other details other than it used to start with no problems, in the cold. (I.E., whether you have a block heater used, stored inside or not, whether you use additive, and how cold is your cold)
If you can’t see the pleats in the fuel filter, then your fuel has gelled. I keep my tractors in an uninsulated barn, but here in SD, the temps in the barn still get down into the teens, or below. Diesel fuel additive with anti-gel properties is good, summer or winter, but especially in winter. I've had better results with Howe's than Pwr Services, but each his own. Either way, if you're gelled, nothing but replacing the filter will get you started. ....if your battery isn't an issue.
However, PS 911 is supposed to un-gel and Howe's now has an additive that is supposed to do the same. Just some food for thought.
How old is the battery? How do the cables look? Corrosion is not your friend.
Hope you get it going again.
