While mowing and snow blowing occasionally my engine would die down and sometimes stall. I shut it off and let it set. Started it back up and it ran fine. Chanced all the filters, added fresh fuel and additive. Helped for a while but issue returned.

If it were me, I’d start by looking at fuel delivery because what you’re describing really sounds like it’s starving for fuel under load. The fact that it runs fine after sitting for a few minutes is a big clue. One of the first easy things to check is the fuel cap vent — if it’s plugged, the tank can build vacuum and restrict flow. Next time it starts to die, try loosening the cap and see if it picks back up. I’ve also seen debris in the tank cause this exact issue — it’ll clog things up while running, then settle when you shut it off, which is why it restarts and runs fine for a bit. Since changing the filters helped temporarily, that kind of points in that direction too. It could also be a weak lift pump or even a soft fuel line collapsing under suction once things warm up. I’d focus on anything between the tank and the injection pump before digging deeper.
