While out running disc over field for approximately 2 hours with no problem my tractor out of the blue loses power throttles down and dies.
no warning, no over heating, plenty of diesel. Tried to start it again without success.
after approximately 5 minutes of looking everything over and finding no obvious problems I attempted to start again and this time it started. I began to head immediately to the barn. Tractor ran for about a minute then lost power and died again. This pattern repeated about 4-5 times until I was able to get to the barn.
Any ideas on what this might be would be appreciated.
