I was glad to see that a reinforcement plate was added between the handle and the linkage arm

I was glad to see that a reinforcement plate was added between the handle and the linkage arm. Hopefully, a heat treatment process was added after the welding was accomplished to restore the RC hardness, because welding small parts together typically causes annealing; which I believe is the reason the original part failed. The factory installed linkage arm bent and cracked. I noticed this is a trend among the Mahindra 2638 Owners.
